Goodwill-she's calling me

I haven't been to Goodwill in about a week, not because I didn't want to but because I'm broke. Had to pay some "trivial" bill (car insurance) and now we're cash poor until Friday.Goodwill- she's a callin' my name though. "I have some treasures that need to come home with you.", she says whenever I pass by (which is at least once a day since it's like less than a mile from me). Never mind that I have no cash. Never mind that I have a play house full of stuff to list on Etsy and Ebay. Never mind that my house looks like ninja monkeys with a mean streak destroyed it(in reality it was the three year old all hopped up on sugar).I wanna gooo- I want to dig through the bins and find buried treasure. I want to peruse the racks looking for something cool. I want to gape at the weird stuff that comes in and wonder why in the world someone would donate those items.
(Deep breaths) Ok, tantrum over...sort of. I will sit on my hands (figuratively, you can't literally sit on your hands and type at the same time unless you're a contortionist.) I will take pictures of the stuff I do have.I will not pout.I will get my house clean(er). I will patiently wait until...Friday.
Here's a few things I bought recently:
Francie and Casey Studio House-apparently Barbie's unpopular friends.
Barbie's friends don't get a dream house- just a studio apartment. On Ebay.
A Hall Golden Glo casserole dish. No chips, but I'm not sure it'll sell because there's some paint issues on the lid. The leprechaun who painted this was probably drunk at the time..or at Goodwill.
A measuring glass for liquor.Friends don't let leprechauns drink alone I guess.
And vintage clown heads from Japan. Not sure why I bought these..I blame the leprechaun, lol.

We've got a visitor

We've got a visitor around here...yep that brown puppy who insists he's a lap dog. A couple of days ago, the hubs and my youngest went for a walk/tricycle ride around the neighborhood and he followed them home. My neighbor is usually the one who brings home strays- it must've gotten around the neighborhood that I live next to her. He's got a tag that has the name of a local animal shelter and a number. The animal shelter called and said they have no record of the puppy.I'm hoping that someone puts up a missing poster. My husband and kids would love to keep him, but look at those paws. This cute little puppy is going to turn into a huge dog. Plus, we already have a dog.

I made resolutions for this year and already broke a couple the first day. Oh well. I guess I can't complain if I'm headed in the right direction.
